Hello there, first and foremost I would like to congratulate you on taking the first step to a NEBOSH qualification (if you have NOT, why is that so??? :P). In this site, I would like to cover why, if you are in operations, or in the safety line, you should get yourself a NEBOSH qualification and how it can benefit you and your company.

List of NEBOSH courses:

Certificate Level

National/International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

National/International Certificate in Construction Health and Safety

National/International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management

National Certificate in Management of Health and Well-being at Work

National Certificate in Environmental Management

International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety

Diploma Level

National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

National Diploma in Environmental Management

Master Level (MSc / MRes)

Occupational Health and Safety Management

Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management

Environmental Management

Depending on your goals and objectives, decide on which course you would like to pursue. The very first step that you have to take, is to research and understand which of these courses you want to undertake. Be honest with yourself, as I can testify, without proper preparation, passing the NEBOSH examinations can be quite a challenge. Also be wary of which industry you are working for and the level of your expertise that you want to undertake.

Passing rates of NEBOSH International Diploma

As I would tell my people, "Begin with the end in mind", if you aspire to become a Health and Safety Executive or Manager, you should be getting a higher level of certification. Whereas if you only wish to supplement your knowledge, then a certificate level would suffice.

Stay tuned for more post.
